Watercolour photoset tutorial.
[1]. okay. first we need to open up our first image. you can choose whatever image you want(i’ve chosen emma). once you’ve got the image open make a new blank page (file > new) my size for my photoset is 245 x 340 but you can choose what size you want. once that’s all done you can then colour your image with any colouring you want(this may not have an effect on the colouring at the end but it’s your decision). here is screenshot of my outcome.
[2]. the next is to get our base texture for the photoset. i used this one by slayground. copy and paste the texture onto the blank page that you opened earlier and resize it to how you want it. then we need to copy and paste your image that you coloured of your chosen celebrity or whatever onto the blank page with your texture. now we can use our watercolour erasing skills. so or this we need to use specific watercolour brushes which you can download from here(the brushes you want to download are called “High Resolution Watercolour Brushes). once you have downloaded them you need to add them to your brushes tool on photoshop. to do this, open up the brush set/stamp1+3 you just downloaded on to photoshop then using the ‘marquee tool’ go around one of the brushes. example. then go to edit > define brush preset and press ok. then do the same for all the others you want to use and they should all be installed into your brushes tool. so now we can start erasing with these brush tools. okay, pick any of the brushes you have just installed(you can resize them before erasing) and rub out parts of the image(you may have to click several times for it to rub out fully). example. then you can build it up by erasing with different brushes in different places. this is my final outcome. (you can merge the layers all together to make it easier to work with, to do this right click on the image and ‘merge visible’).
[3]. so we’ve finished the watercolour effect and now we shall add some gradient for effect(this is optional). you can use any colours you want, i’ve chosen a traditonal brown and beige colour. example. to do the gradient go to layer > new adjustment layer > gradient map. once you’ve done that you can ‘merge visible’ again and just sharpen it and vola(: here is my final image.
now you can just play around with your other ones and see what outlooks you get. i hope this helped and if you have any questions on this tutorial please feel free to ask. just have fun and experiment(:

Eye graphic tutorial.

[1]. ok, so this is a pretty complicated tutorial but i’m comfortable explaining stuff. so first get your black and white image, full head shot will work better(black and white is best) and set it onto a canvas of 500x500 like this. secondly we need to take this texture and place it onto your image on the eye of the person, set it to multiply(example) and do the same for the other it should look like this now. just rub out the extra bits of both textures to get a final look like this one.

[2]. now we go onto colouring the eyes and bringing the eyes to life. so to start we need to add some colour to the actually eye itself. i chose blue but you can chose whatever colour you like. make sure you get the right brush size for the size of the eye(example). then just add two simple dots on both eyes and set the layer to vivid light and you can change the opacity to your taste(example). now for the eye makeup. i added some thin eyeliner to kristen’s eyes, i zoomed into the picture so i can focus on the eye and used a brush size of 9px. just ever so slightly paint across the bottom and top of the eye lid in black and set the layer to soft light (do this for both eyes). this is how mine looks. i also added an eyelash extension to her eyes to bring them wider, just google ‘eyelash brushes’ and find some that look right on the eye and resize them to make it fit, set the layer to multiply like so. now it should look something like this, much more beautiful and brighter.

[3]. we now move onto the lips and the whitening of the teeth and eyes. first get a nice colour of red that you want for the lips and simply paint the lips whilst the layer is set to multiply, you should get something like this. then chose a white colour and simply paint over the teeth and eyes to make them look a bit whiter(you don’t have to do this). this is how mine looks. finally merge the layers together(example).

[4]. now for adding the colouring. i used a colouring by psychadeliachild and changed the layer opacity for the right look on the image(example). you can use whatever colouring you like for your graphic. then we can get a more smooth and soft look to the image like this. to achieve this go to filter > blur > gaussian blur and set the layer to soft light(example).

[5]. to finish off you can add a few textures to your graphic. i used this one to start so that it gets a more purple lighter look. i set the texture to screen(example). the final texture i used was this one, and again set the texture to screen and rubbed out a few areas i didn’t want.(example). and voila, just add some text and you’re done! hope this helped guys:). have funnnnnn!!!

These are so adorable, and the yarn gives them such a cozy feeling too! Usually buying letters like these would stop you at between $5-$10 each, and up to $30+ if you’re purchasing the word together.

“TUTORIAL” BY PSCS5; How to get “load files into stacks to work” in Photoshop Portables and I think you can use this in regular Photoshop as well.

So the other day I was asked about this option not working in someone’s Photoshop. I responded that I did not know how to fix it because I figured there was no solution to the problem. But I looked into it and I found that you can download a script to make this option work. I have not tried this myself so I don’t know if this really works but what I have read on Google, it’s pretty legit. Just a couple of steps.

1. Download the script from here or here.
2. Follow these steps on how to install the scripts into your Photoshop. Explanation was found on this website:

And that is it! Hopefully this works and solves the problem!
